Are your eyes bigger than your stomach? You know the feeling I’m talking about, after you’ve ate a cookout, potluck, big meal (especially during the holidays), or even munched on a snack to long. Yep Me Too!
I love to eat and when I do a lot of the times mine are too, and then the stomach pains and can’t get comfortable sets in. My go to relief is actually, Ginger Ale. I don’t drink it a lot like normal sodas and have loved it since I was kid. It wasn’t until a few years ago, that I was educated about ginger and its benefits on digestion. They recommended ginger tea, but I tried it and NOPE I just couldn’t drink it and so, I made the decision to make sure I have bottle Ginger Ale (Canadian Dry, Schweppes, Seagrams or any genernic brand) in the house at all times. Yes I know soda isn’t healthy for me either, but it really does help.
So, the next time you have a bad case of over-eating or indigestion, I recommend drinking some Ginger Ale. Just to note as well that Ginger Ale is also good to use when punches for any type party.
